How to Make Caramel Sauce

Ingredients

1 stick of butter (8 tablespoons)
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1/2 cup of honey
1 can of condensed milk (14 oz)
Flavoring of your choice: cinnamon, cardamom, chai mix, vanilla extract & sea salt, etc.
Directions

On medium heat, place 1 stick of butter (which is 8 tablespoons), in a saucepan.
Add ½ a cup of brown sugar – notice how it is packed into the measuring cup. That’s the way you need to measure brown sugar.
Then add ½ a cup of honey.
Mix well and let the butter, sugar, and honey cook on medium heat until they start boiling.
Once the mixture start boiling, stir constantly, and let it boil for 2 minutes.
Reduce the heat to low-medium, and add 1 cup, which is 14 ounces, of condensed milk. I am using fat free condensed milk as we are already using butter!
Now the fun part! Flavor your caramel with the spice of your choice: Cardamom, Chai mix, or vanilla and sea salt!
Let the caramel cook on low-medium heat for 3 minutes while stirring constantly. Do not let it boil.
And that’s it! Pour your caramel in a jar and store it in the fridge. If you need warm caramel, just microwave the amount you need  before using it.
