Pirozhki(Russian Small Pies)

Bread Dough
1 pkg. yeast
1 1/2 c. warm water
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
4 c. flour
Dissolve yeast in water in a large bowl. Add salt and sugar. Mix in flour, knead into soft dough. Let rise for 1 hour.Then cut into 2Inch sections.
or you can use frozen bread dough to save time. Just put frozen bread dough on a well oiled cookie sheet with towel over it until defrosted and has started to rise which takes about 1 to 2 hours. It takes about 3 loaves frozen bread dough, thawed to make a full recipe to finish the filling.
Meat and cheese Filling
3 Lbs lean ground beef
1 Large Onion chopped (med dice)
2 med size 12 oz cans of black olives(crushed)
24 oz of american or cheddar cheese
salt and pepper to taste 
Brown ground beef in large skillet on medium heat  with onion ,olives and salt and pepper until completely brown. Drain any fat and add cheese until melted.
Per heat oven to 375
To fill the dough
Roll dough 1/4" thick and cut in 2 1/2" squares. Place 2 heaping tablespoons of mixture on top of square in the center. Fold in half and pinch together.Place on a greased cookie sheet.  Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes, until brown
